Although Zao isn’t completely plastic free, their shine-up powders are refillable, making a much healthier, sustainable and eco-friendly alternative to purchasing an entirely new fully plastic product.
Every one of these compact blush are talc-free vegan, organic and cruelty free with limited, if any plastic packaging.

Packaging
Zao blush cases are made from bamboo and presented in a bamboo pouch with drawstring. The refill comes in a biodegradable and cardboard envelope.
The metal containers the powders are held in are 100% recyclable aluminium.
How To Use
To apply the blush, follow the very simple “smiling cheeks” method: use a blush brush, smile and lightly dust blush on the apples of your cheeks in a circular motion.
This technique adds colour, giving you a fresh and defined look.
How To Refill
To refill the compact powder, there is a tiny hole on the back which you can use to pop out the compact and replace with a new refill or an entire new colour. This could be done with an earring or sim card key.
