Description
Salad mix by Seedball is a collection of fast-growing scrumptious frilly salad, including salad rocket, kale, green and red mustard, and cress. Great for making homegrown salads, side salads, sandwiches and the perfect accompaniment for your favourite dishes.
Each seed ball contains approximately 30 seeds that will grow into delicious salad.
What's great about Seedballs is that the ball prevents the seeds from being eaten by birds and insects, thereby increasing the chances of your wildflowers growing. They are also super easy to use, so no digging or expert knowledge needed!
Seedballs are 100% plastic free, natural and eco-friendly - what's not to love?
Each tin of Salad Mix Seedball contains 20 seed balls, enough to cover 1 metre square in the garden bed or 3-5 medium sized pots (leave at least 10cm between each ball). For best results scatter in early Spring to late Autumn. Can also grow on a sunny windowsill or in a garden bed or pot!
All the seeds used in Seedballs are responsibly sourced in the UK from Flora Locale accredited suppliers, only ever use peat-free compost and their steel tins are manufactured in London (with the help of a solar farm on the factory roof)
Packaging
Plastic free steel tin.
How To Use
How do I use Seedballs?
Throw onto soil or compost in a garden bed or planter in Spring or Autumn, leaving at least 10cm between each ball.
Your seedball has everything it needs to grow and, once the ball becomes moist and the temperature is right, your seeds will germinate.
What area will my Seedballs cover?
We would usually advise 20 seed balls per square metre, or 3-5 seed balls for a 35cm container.
Materials
Steel Tin
Each tin contains 20 balls and around 30 seeds per ball.
